    Refunds & Cancelations

    Please ensure that you keep information about your car listed on the site updated and accurate. We want to ensure that users looking to borrow your car will have access to accurate and updated information about when a reservation can be made.

    Car Owners

    Please ensure that you update your car calendar on your page weekly to ensure the most accurate reservations take place. Car owners may change or cancel reservations a limited number of times each month, and only in emergencies or extenuating circumstances. We reserve the right to remove car owners who cancel reservations often, are unreliable, or do not update their car calendars. There is no other fee for owners to cancel reservations.

    Car Renters

    We do not assess a fee for cancelled reservations for most cars on the platform, with the exception of VIP Club vehicles. We do reserve the right to block car renters from future use of the site if they cancel reservations often or are otherwise unreliable.

    For VIP Club vehicles, cancelling less than 48 hours before the rental results in a 50% cancellation fee of the rental amount, due to the difficulty of rescheduling a car on such short notice. Cancelling more than 48 hours before your rental results in a 20% cancellation fee. This fee is waived if you make another confirmed reservation with Rent2Buy in lieu of the one you just cancelled.
